Laura Mae

Laura Mae is my closest sister that is most like me.  She has introduced me to my favorite things in the whole world.  My Japanese Videos and Manga books.  I love her so much for it and a big part of my life would be missing without her and my entertaining shows and books.  I used to be very closed minded to any culture, but she showed me Japanese everything, and now that is number one on my mind all the time.  Thank you Laura Mae!!!

Meru Puri (Manga Book)

Meru Peri is a fantastic book, that I have read about 4 volumes of about ten times.  It is about Arie and Aram, Aram is from a magical kindom which he is prince of.  Aram's older brother Julie casts a spell on Aram that makes him grow rapidly in the dark, to escape from being tortured by his brother Aram travels through a mirror that would bring him to a safe place.  Which is Aries mirror, passed down from her great, Great, Great, Grandmother, Christine, who betrayed her kingdom by running away.  Arie takes care of Aram and they fall in love.  This story made me thirsty for more and I am not sure if there is more.  It gave me chills several times so I read it over and over, you shold check it out tooo.  I believe they still have it at Barnes and Noble like many other books you should take a look at.

All I have read of this series is two books, and I thinkt it is completed but I am not sure.  it is about a boy, who's family excluding one brother switch bodies when they touch a certain body part.  Kohamaru switches bodies with Nanae, which is his sould mate, when their lips touch.  Other stuff and complications happen in the story but I don't want to ruin it for whoever decides to read it.  A place where you could probably look this up and read online is shojumagic.com

Hana Yori Dango (Manga Book and Drama)

Hana-Yori-Dango is a mango book and a drama, but I only watched the drama.  It was very complex and entertaining and also very long, so I could fill up all my extra time.  It was about a poor girl who goes to a very expensive and prestigious school.  It takes up most of their money, but her family is happy to spend the money for her educations.  Throughout the story relationships of all kinds go on.  It is hard to explain what happens, so you should see it for yourself at mysoju.com

W. Juliet (Manga Book)

W. Juliet is a Manga Book series that includes about 15 books altogether.  In the story, Ito, a tomboy, meets Makoto.  Makoto is a guy, but for his last two years of high school he has to be a girl, so he can pursue his dream to become an actor.  No one can find out his secret, but on his first day, Ito finds out already, but agrees to keep quiet and help out.  Throughout the story they become friends and fall in love.  However, there are many obsticles that make the story so intense.  I loved it so much and I am currently reading the series for about the tenth time.

Gokusen is about a teacher and her class.  The teacher's Grandfather is head of the Mafia (a gang), she wants to be a teacher instead of taking over the family business.  If her school found out about her family background, she wouldn't be able to be a teacher, because of this she is very careful about anything leading to her personal life.  The class she is put in charge of is class D, which is the lowest class, that is full of deliquents.  This show is very intense.

My Sister Laura Mae introduced me to this show like all the other shows and books I have watched or read.  It is about a guy who lived ina war, area.  When his parents died, he moved to America and went to a high school.  He is like a soldier, so he is different from everyone and always has many wepons on him.  I loved this show it was very funny.

clean and organized

I am very organized when it comes to my house and room. Manga books are also organized. Every picture is put in order in little squares or rectangles. This is another reason i like manga books. All most every where i go if something is too dirty or disorganized i will clean it or leave beacause i don't like it. I am this way because my mom raised me to be clean. A lot of people aren't taught the importance of being clean in every way possible, that is why whenever i see something as organized and cool as manga books i become obsesed with them. I know there are people who probably love manga books more than i do, but no one can ever look at and respect manga books the way i do.

drawing

I love to read manga books because they have realy pretty pictures all the way through. I like to look at the pictures, but i want to be able to draw like the artists more than anything. I probably never will be able to draw like them because they have more training and expirience and natural talent. I have gotten a lot better though, with the help of special books that can show you the steps and brushes to make you better at drawing. You can probably find some of these at Barns And Noble, but i got my first one at a book fair in elementry school. Most people say i am pretty good and i shouldn't judge so hard, but i only push my self so much because i want to be the best i can.

I love rock music. Especialy Hard Metal rock, but i havent heard Japanese Rock until i watched Death Note, which was about 3 monthes ago. Before that i never noticed how simular Japanese and English music are. In a lot of the videos i watch[in Japanese and English]theres normaly only a clasical type of music involved. When i watched Death Note, it was one of my favorite shows almost imeadiately, part of the reason was probably the music used[rock]. Music, i think is more than sounds, but feelings put into lyrics and thats why people are so attracted to it.
